Cisco Clean Access Information
As of Fall 2006, USF is implementing Cisco's Clean Access system in the St. Petersberg Residence Halls. The purpose of this system is to protect student computers and the USF network from viruses and other malware that have often plagued our residence hall networks.
For Windows machines, installation of the Clean Access agent is required. This agent checks that a virus scanner is installed, that it is up-to-date with the latest DATs, and that you have Automatic Windows updates enabled.
