Game Console MAC Addresses
Media Access Control (MAC) Address, is a unique identifier for network devices composed of 12 hexadecimal characters (0-9 A-F). They can appear in the following formats:

To find the MAC/Adapter Address, find your game console below and follow the instructions.
Microsoft
Console (XBOX Family)
SeriesX
(XBOX Series X)
- Go to "Profile & System"
- Select "Settings"
- Select "General"
- Select "Network Settings"
- Select "Advanced Settings"
- Select "IP Settings"
- MAC address will be listed next to 'WiredMAC' (Ethernet) 'WirelessMAC' (Wi-Fi) on right side of screen.
XBOne
(XBOX One)
- Go to the "Settings" Page
- Select "Network"
- Select "Advanced Settings"
- MAC address will be listed next to 'MAC' on right side of screen.
360
(XBOX 360)
- Go to the "System" area of the Xbox Dashboard
- Select "Network Settings"
- Select "Edit Settings"
- Select "Additional Settings"
- Select "Advanced Settings"
- At the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading called "Wired MAC Address"
XBOX
(Original)
- Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray
- From the Xbox Dashboard, choose "Settings"
- Select "Network Settings"
- The MAC address is at the bottom-right corner of the screen
Note: If you have an "Alternate MAC Address" configured on this screen, you MUST remove that address and register the "Wired MAC Address".
Nintendo
Console
Wii
- From the Wii Channel menu, select "Wii Settings" (the round button on the bottom-left of the screen with "Wii" on it)
- Select "Internet,"
- Select "Console Settings"
- The MAC address is displayed on the first line
GameCube
- Unplug the GameCube and flip it over
- Remove the broadband adapter from the bottom of the GameCube;
- Flip the adapter over
- The adapter address is printed on the underside of adapter
Handheld
Switch
- Select "System Settings" from the HOME Menu.
- Scroll down and Select "Internet"
- The MAC address is listed under "System MAC Address"
DS
(2DS/3DS)
- From the HOME menu, select "System Settings"
- Select "Internet Settings"
- Select "Other Information"
- Select "Confirm MAC Address"
- The MAC address will be displayed

- On the Home Screen, Find "Settings" (Gear icon)
- Press the "X" button
- Find "System"
- Press the "X" button
- Find "Console Information" (Under System Software)
- Press the "X" button
- MAC address will be displayed for LAN (Ethernet) and Wi-Fi
PS4
(Playstation 4)
- Find "System Settings" Icon
- Press the "X" button
- Scroll up/down until you see "System Information"
- Press the "X" button
- MAC address will be displayed
PS3
(Playstation 3)
- Navigate to the Settings icon (located on the far left of the main menu screen)
- Press the "X" button
- Navigate up/down until you see the "System Settings" icon
- Press the "X" button
- Scroll up/down until you see "System Information"
- Press the "X" button
- MAC address will be displayed
PS2
(Playstation 2)
- Power up the PlayStation 2 and load the Network Adaptor Startup Disc.
- Once it has loaded, select "ISP Setup" and press X on your controller.
- The ISP Setup will begin to load, and you will be presented with a license agreement. Select Agree and press X to continue.
- For connection type, choose "Local Area Network (LAN)" and press X to continue.
- Select "Automatic Configuration" and press X to continue.
- At the connection test screen, select "Advanced" and press X to continue.
- At the "Advanced Broadband Settings" screen, make sure "Automatic" is selected. While you are at this screen, make note of the MAC address at the bottom.
Note: To find the MAC address of your Sony PlayStation 2 you will need the Network Adaptor connected to the PS2 and you will need the disc that came with the Network Adaptor.
